Cherry
is well known for unique reddish tones and is prized throughout
the world. The initial milled color is a light pink / wheat and
after milling it changes a darker rich reddish/copper color up
to the color of a ripe apple. American cherry was one of the
original hardwood floors and can still be found in 350 year old
historic homes.
Chris
Says...
"American
cherry is rare and beautiful, lighter colored than Brazilian
cherry and with even cleaner lines. Due to its rarity and its
unique look and feel it will be often be sold for over $10.00/sqft
just for the material. If you want an upgrade that offers a class
of its own and not just catch up with the Johnsons then American
Cherry is for you." |
